The countdown is to launch, not jump. It will take some time to climb in a balloon to the point when he jumps. I'll video tape it for you. Go to work.

Wondering what his approach is going to be...Ie. will he have to go right into a delta to achieve Terminal Velocity? Or will a flat dumb and happy descent be all thats required at that altitude to achieve mach...
Blows me away to think a human without any mechanical devices will break the speed of sound...Wonder if there will be any physical repercussions to his body

The balloon and capsule is supposed to take 2.5-3hr's to get to 120,000' agl, great timing for taking a bathroom break!
btw: the feed is running live now...
