Snugpak Response Pak
More than just a bum bag, the Response Pak multi-functional carry case is made from the same tough, texturised, heavy-duty fabric used by Snugpak for their rucksacks, and incorporates many useful features.
The main body of the Response Pak is a compartment some 3.75” (9.5cm) x 9” (23cm) x 7” (18cm), which has an internal mesh divider to help organise the compartments contents, and a 9” long tough coil zip opening across the centre top of the Pak.
On the front of the main compartment there is a 8” x 5.6” x 2” compartment that has a 14” inverted “U” zip closure, again using a tough coil zip, and has internal dividers making three smaller, open-top divisions.
At each end of the Response Pak there is a 5.6” x 3.6” x 2.6” compartment with tough 9” inverted “U” coil zip closures.
All internal seams are bound for strength and on the face of each side of the Response Pak there are tough bands of 2” webbing sewn into 2.6” loops and on top of these strips of 1” webbing sewn into 1.6” loops giving multi-pull attachment points for more kit or camouflage, while down each side of the front compartment are long “pen slot” tubes of fabric.
The back of the Response Pak has a flat “tunnel” pocket 6” x 7.5” closed by Velcro strips at each end, and which can be used to hide away the waist belt when it is not needed.
The waist belt itself is made of 2” webbing and has a quick release buckle, adjustable from each side, and clips to hold the loose ends neatly.
Running around the body of the Response Pak are twin compression straps, with quick release buckles, and these are joined across the top of the main compartment by an incredibly strong grab handle. These straps continue down the back of the Response Pak forming attachment straps fastened with sturdy snap fasteners that allow you to fix the Pak to other belts, packs, or even to vehicles for great versatility.
Made to Snugpak’s normal high standards, the Response Pak is a lot more than your average bum bag and has more applications than I can possibly list. Whether you are travelling light or want to keep your “essentials” handy for a quick move, the Response Pak could be the answer to your needs. I have used the Response Pak as a bum bag for hikes, a canoe “thwart bag”, a mobile office, a glorified “handbag” and a car seat back organiser, and see it coming in handy in other ways!
Comfortable and secure to wear as a bum bag, the Response Pak holds a surprising amount of kit in an organised way.
Versatile and well made, the Snugpak Response Pak comes in olive or black
