Solar Flare Triggers A Solar Tsunami

SOLAR FLARE: Old sunspot 1039 still has some life left in it. On Jan. 17th, it unleashed a strong solar flare and triggered a solar tsunami.
The eruption, which took place on the far side of the sun, was invisible from Earth. Nevertheless, NASA's STEREO-B spacecraft had a great view. STEREO-B is stationed over the sun's eastern limb where it can see things that we cannot. The sun's rotation is turning sunspot 1039 back toward our planet and it should emerge over the limb within the next 48 hours. Meanwhile, STEREO-B will continue to monitor developments.

UPDATE: Sunspot 1039 produced another eruption on Jan. 18th around 2036 UT. STEREO-B recorded an ultraviolet flare (movie) and SOHO tracked a bright coronal mass ejection billowing over the sun's eastern limb.

I don't find this disturbing. But on the other hand the Sun is the closest the Earth since 2000 years or so.
I do believe the prediction on the solar flares for 2012, but what the result will be for us here on Earth I cannot say.
Normally the earth magnetic field does protect us from the flares, if our earth didnt have
this one or 2 huge holes
What we observed was the breach in the levee. This has taken us completely by surprise. The opening was huge - four times wider than Earth itself, this kind of influx is an order of magnitude greater than what we thought was possible.

The end of the story would be world wide electronical issues, no electronic at all.
for a year or more.

This leads me to the question:
does HAARP can affect our earth magnetic field?
does HAARP can affect our earth magnetic field?

See for yourself!
Sunflares should be bigger than the one we experienced in 2003. That one was a X28 and blinded several satelites for several minutes.
When the Sun will have any effect to for example create Earthquakes it at least must be of an catagory of X50 I think.

i do not believe in coincidence that on the same dates of activity of sunspots on the the same times there are new earthquakes somewhere in the world.

Nothing happened in 2003 October / November, so why is that I wonder.
It is clearly shown on the images the spots were headed towards Earth when the earthquake occurred, but to back up your thought I was convinced something should have happened in October / November 2003, but nothing happened so I cannot conclude your assumption is right or neither can confirm your thought.
But I am sure willing to believe.

The Earth's magnetic fields are at their weakest around the time of the Equinoxes... so, from about March 15 until April 1, and September 15 until October 1. Also, the stability of the magnetic poles affect the Earth's magnetic field. So during this time while the magnetic poles are moving around so quickly.. about 40 miles per year.. leaves us vulnerable. And in about two months, we're REALLY going to be vulnerable.
