Solar storms - 2012 or 2013

As you know or may not know, there is prove that solar flares or solar storms will come into factor around 2012, or 2013. Do some research and scientists have even said this. With our earths magnetic field depleting and with holes in it,

What do you think will happen in this event??

If the super storm hits, I believe the grids could be fried. Our grids are fragile and a CME event could cause "Lights Out".

since plumbing requires pumps that run off of electricity you will have to pee and take a dump out side or your house will stink up.

won't we get fried like a worldwide bbq? ^^ i'm not a scientist. so what if we lose power all over the world.
we lived without it once not that long ago (well we didn't ^^) but i think we will adapt to the situation if it realy came down to that.

Don't forget that if the powergrid fails, ALL water will be off. No clean water.

When it comes down to it, boil any water taken from rivers and streams. Animal feces and decay, which are present in all natural waterways, can be fatal if ingested over large periods of time.

Time to start learning basic survival skills: How to build shelter, how to start a fire without a lighter or paper, how to stay warm, how to hunt and cultivate plants.

Even if the next few years go smoothly, still great things to know.
