Something strange just happened

I need some help here. I live in the USA and noticed that when I attempted to refresh after listening to the ex-communicated priest I noticed something strange. First off I browse in Firefox and have and add-on that shows where the site is located in the address bar. At any rate, when the video ended and I went back to the home page and the page stalled. I refreshed and it stalled again long enough to reflect a server is in Australia rather than Germany as is normally shown. Here's the stupid question of the day; Are the Ozzies/US tracking us DTVers? If so, what would be the purpose of wanting to know our browsing habits?
