At the moment, my budget can only accommodate Euroshopper brand beer. At 42 eurocents per half-liter can (5% a.b.v.), it's hard to beat!

The taste is not out of this world, but it's better than PBR or Old Milwaukee.

It's cheap and drinkable, but I wouldn't say it's actually Milwaukee's best.

Becks, Corona, Stella, Heineken. Thats the good shit in that order.

Man, beer prices have gotten HIGH in the States. You can get a case of Heineken or Grolsch here for under 10 Euros.

That's about $3.50 a sixpack in dollars. When I was back in the States this past summer it was about $9 a sixer for imports or microbrews. Was that just Maine prices?

damn, thats really cheap.
the beers i listed are more expensive. imports are always more expensive than domestic, naturally.
when i go cheap, i get MGD and a six pack of that would be about $5.99
our taxes just went up big time too. seriously big time.
if i get a 12 pack of Becks at jewel it would be about $14 and i can get a full case (24) of MGD for the same price ($14).

Could'nt agree more m8.I was thinking of importing some milwaukees best to Scotland but the reviews time and time again were so bad it put me off,but i swear when we visited the states we really enjoyed it immensely.Perhaps it was something to do with the scorching tennessee heat, then you pop a cold one,it's going to be refreshing no doubt...however...one of my mates bought a full keg of Bud,and i always remember that being gross. The idiot had to continually buy ice to keep it cool but he was fighting a losing battle.I'd love to try Milwaukees best again.Personally these days i drink real ale.Best one i have found is Hobgoblin, following by Scotlands own lia fail.Very nice.Us Scots make some good beers :flop:

Oh yeah, lia fail is Irish for 'Stone of Destiny'and you can google that one if you are interested...
