Space exploration volunteers wanted (The catch? It's a one-way ticket)

A senior NASA official has suggested that in the future volunteers may be wanted to undertake voyages to distant planets with no expectation of ever getting back, likening such journeys to those of the early seafaring pioneers.

"It is often described as "the final frontier", and not just by those who follow the adventures of Captain Kirk and the crew of the USS Enterprise. The phrase, though, may take an even more literal meaning for those exploring space in the future."

Proberbly too old to go myself these days but there are a few people I could suggest need a one way ticket into deep space, most of them are on this site, But I am way to polite to mention any names....who am I kidding.
1/ Pindz----who would really enjoy it
2/ baby shaker---can correct all the other astros spelling on the trip
3/ Drex----only because i think he is already going,he said he wouldnt be around for a while

Appearantly I do, maybe you should read those tickets very carefully, take special note of the large red letters saying "ONE WAY ONLY".

Now that is weird. My wife told me to ignore that it only meant there was only one way there and back and I was going to be on it. She left yesterday to go to the atlantis resort but told me to have fun on my trip. Oh well guess I'll ask her about it when I get back. Gotta run...........have loads of insurance forms to fill out before I leave............she made me promise to do it.............what would I do without her?

If i didnt have a kid, i might do that. i never even been on an airplane, so that would be a huge jump in elevation for me.
