so without sounding like a fan boy too much here does any body think there any truth in there at all? like based on real things? im leaning towards yes tbh i dont know if its because the show is so well done or its like a 6th sense but i could believe that most things that happened in stargate were either real events or loosely based around them .
your thought?

p.s my awesome shield of anti hate is on so please feel free to call me whatever :)

Check out this amazing aggregate of information.

I'm an SG fan like yourself, and have done a ton of research on the various topics behind it, and tbh, the ancient astronaut theory isn't very much different than the theme of SG1. Aliens standing in as gods, Ancient humans creating other humans and seeding planets, etc.

It's a very entertaining representation of real life theoretical debates about our ancient past.

Hey, I am a huge Stargate fan. Yet originally a Star Trek fan. How many ideals have come from the terminologies from that series have come to fruition today? Many!
So anything is possible. When you close your mind, you become finite, when you open it, you are infinite. At the end of the day, we are here to learn the answers. Lets hope we do in our lifetimes.
I believe they are based on some kind of fact. I dunno though, which is why I keep looking.
The've got to get these ideas from somewhere.

I would be inclined to say yes. It looks like a photo-manipulation, the stargate itself doesn't have the same image degradation as the people and setting, it appears to be overlaid, with a grain filter applied. You really can't trust any photo these days.

But that doesn't discredit the information. all the information is backed up by various sources and well researched. Well worth the read.

source http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Richard_Dean_Anderson
At the Air Force Association's 57th Annual Air Force Anniversary Dinner in Washington, D.C., on September 14, 2004, then-Air Force Chief-of-Staff, General John P. Jumper,[13] presented Anderson with an award because of his role as star and executive producer of Stargate SG-1, a series which portrayed the Air Force in a positive light from its premiere.[14] Anderson was also made an honorary Air Force brigadier general.

if this is right isnt brigadier general a bit high rank just to give out?
