Stephen Hawking plans to leave Britain over Government cuts in science'
Professor Stephen Hawking is planning to abandon Cambridge University after nearly 50 years and move to Canada in protest at Government cuts.

The world's most famous physicist has become frustrated with falling university budgets, which he believes are scuppering scientific discoveries.
(Indeed,REAL scientific discoveries that cannot be hushed up and kep secret,real discoveries that would benefit mankind,not good for the controllers..)

If he does go, you can add his name to a long list of professions who leave this country in order to progress in their chosen fields!

This will be a great loss to the UK.

Apart from the budget cuts he might also be moving to a safer country, both from a physical as from a monetary point of view.

In my opinion the canadian dollar (together with the australian dollar) will be amongst the most resilient currencies once the shit hits the fan (since their economies, especially for canada, are asset based).

Yeah it's a bloody joke,really,if we have such a prominent world reknowned name in science like Hawking in the UK and he thinks it best to move on after 50 years,you'd imagine he has asked for help from the government or whatever,expressed his views,his concerns before making this decision...he must have stonewalled like the rest of us...
You know the song-war,huh what is it good for?...i think we should substitue war for government eh?
