I think there is something far more spiritual to Avebury than at Stonehenge

I went to stay in a place called Potterne, not too far away from either and was told i would appreciate Avebury more.. They were right..

Stonehenge has become nothing more than a gathering place for hippies and travellers now, although im in no way underestimating its importance..

And we'll never truly know what these monuments were actually for, it really is all conjecture..

There's a big old tree at Avebury standing on a hill, its roots all exposed and old looking..
On the side are names of people passing by from all ages, young lovers and hooligans alike have carved their name into that thing..

I reminisced there a bit.. *sighs*

Beautiful place down that neck of the woods..
