Do you know for sure that this has not happened since that time?

I fairly surden of my mom's behaviour, and I am confident she would come running over here, in case that same call ever were to happen again. She hasn't said a thing about it since.

there's documented cases like this...

Actually there's not Im just totally bullshitting you.. i have no fuckin clue

Funny though, since there most likely are people in the world, who might even consider that possible. But I'd rather leave this unexplained!

Would your network supplier be able to provide your mother with an itemised list of her phone network activity for the time period concerned? They should be able to go back 6 months.

You, sir, might be right, and what a great idea. I will call them during the week, to see if they can help me out - thanks for the tip :flop:

Wait does a call from a number "000-000-0000" count as a non-existing number or is that like an extension for telemarketers? Anyone got any clue?

I have no idea. Never heard of a number consisting of just zeros.

Did you get a call from such a number?

Yes I did, granted I have received suspicious calls before, turns out my phone was tapped by whom and why... I do not know but anyways my phone has changed since then but once in a while I get calls from that 0 number and I have no replied for I do not know who/what it might be.

It could have been a phone bug too if she has the old number stored in phones memory.

I received a call from the 000-000-0000 once and it was Blockbuster Video telling me I still had a movie out. They left a message!

You're right, but the number is not stored, nor was it at the time. It would have said my sisters name on the display, had it been stored - NOT her number.
