this was in a top 10 thread but i think it deserves a thread of it's own :flop:


The man who arrived in Japan that day in 1954 was certainly a stranger in a strange land. A Westerner in the land of the East, he towered above most of the Japanese people milling about the Tokyo airport complex. But soon, amazed customs officials found the man was more than just a stranger in their midst. The impossible man was a stranger from a stranger world—a world that existed in another universe entirely!

to bad it wasn't recent ,if that happen today we have mug shots finger prints copy's of his licence and id's

Only if he died in a tragic fire filled plain crash, then we would have his passport and baggage as well as his three closest companions.

SSSSSSLLLIIIDDDEEERRRRRSSSS lol reminds me a lot of that old show Sliders were they slide into parallel earths and they would encounter similar problems

Was kinda crap, but great idea..

There are more of these stories around btw....

It's a shame that only a few here can read Dutch and French. There was this writer, wrote Magical Realism, he used "folkloric" storied and turned them into Novels. There is one in particular, The lost Carnival Celebrator, it's brilliant and based on a true story. Hubert Lampo was simply Brilliant.
