Poor fella. Looks real enough to me. I would look into the local news there and see if there is any construction or explosive noises going on.... apparently when we blow shit up we can open portals and suck in whatever is nearby...
Also, I would look into the Naga history, it could be some remnant that lives in caves and hasn't seen the light of day or has hidden. These poorer countries are a haven for creatures because they aren't as industrialized as ours... lots more places to hide. Interesting and disturbing find...

Yeah.. see its cute little tail sticking out of a bit of bush and then it turns.. its mouth silently saying the words "Bob" .."Bob" .."Bob" as its bulging eyes stare out at you.. admittedly not the scariest creature in the world.. and wouldnt be that hard following it up river.. but yeah.. goatfish lol
