INDONESIA (South-East Asia) This thing was killed near a village and displayed in a table for locals.

My own guess is that because of what is going on now with the fluctuation of energies as a result of our solar-system being in a particularly highly-charged region of our Milky Way, this being has somehow slipped from the closest dimension nearest our own dimension's wavelength and has, like osmosis, filtered through.

Reminds me of the old Fiji Mermaid that Ripley (of 'Believe it or Not fame') toured with all those years back.
