The Bullroarer is very interesting. Australian Aborigines have EXACTLY the same thing!

I wonder if these to cultures were once from the same continent. Seems highly unlikely they both came up with exactly the same instrument on separately ( I could be wrong).

Too the Aboriginals of Australia it is very sacred and should not be heard outside of very special ceremonies. In their myth it is a sound linked to the sky gods who visited a long time ago ( I wonder now just how long?!). It is said that the Bullroarer mimicked the sound of the great skyships the beings appeared in.

Good to see an explanation that goes beyond 'they're all fake', there was something about this whole thing that unsettled me, i knew one or two of the videos were fake but there were so many, i thought it might have been a viral campaign for something (Mass Effect 3 and Cloverfield II were suggested). I also recently watched Red State which made me think it was something to do with that but again there were so many instances that i analysed and the audio was so convincing that i thought they must be genuine.

Heard that noise last night and so did my folks 20 miles away and all my neighbors ,sounded like the biggest aircraft you ever heard going over very slow ,but there was nothing in the sky,and if it was an aircraft it would of had to of been roof top heghit to makr=e that much noise for that length of time,very wierd,and quite scary to! :top:
