it's raining a lot right now. 8 pm. apparently, the downpour will start after midnight and keep going until 2 pm, causing floods and high tides.

I live about 150 miles from the N.C. coastline, and we got 50mph winds and a lot of rain, but we have had storms during the tornado swarms a few months back that were WAY worse. I've talked to friends and family from different areas affected and they said they have all seen way worse. I think this thing is only getting so much coverage for it's potential to hit less prepared areas like New York, and because it was measuring so large in mass, not because of it's destructive power.

I wonder if hurricane Irene was created through HARP. Think it would explain those strange sounds people have been hearing and the earthquake in US which might have been because of some underground explosions.I mean, like everyone says, it doesn't seem to be that big of a threat.
