Sydney turns red: dust storm blankets city

Sydneysiders have woken to a red haze unlike anything seen before by residents or weather experts, as the sun struggles to pierce a thick blanket of dust cloaking the city this morning.

Callers flooded talkback radio, others hit social networking sites and scores of emails were received from smh.com.au readers as Sydney residents expressed their amazement at this morning's conditions.

RECENTLY, NASA DID AN EXPERIMENT.

Recently NASA spent a huge amount of money to send a spacecraft to CREATE clouds around the globe. Do you remember? What all experiments are going on nobody knows.

I saw a video on the NASA site about the blasting of the Moon crater. A scientist is saying there, like children's talk, that they want water on the moon to "mix it with moon dust". Imagine the irresponsibility of the scientist in saying that. If you want to mix, take water from here. Why spend millions and destroy the peace on the moon?

I may be missing something here, but whats this got to do with me waking up covered in an inch of red dirt.
