Oh! c'mon They're not Tanks! You can't deploy Tanks to the Antarctic, they're not designed for that. It's probably a row of research habitation being supplied by some kind of over ice equipment.

Antarctica has a land mass, that has in parts, temperatures higher than mainland US in winter.

Tanks were used in winter or ice bound conflict.

And if these can do it......

I agree with doog, you can deploy tanks in these climates. that's not to say that they couldn't be some sort of excavators or otherwise.


Slith, they could have been there previously, so the new snowfall covered the tracks.
