Those rules were made for the people of, and at a time when they covered the major problems of the day. If Moses came down the mountain with some today, they're probably be 100 commandments. However, are you seriously so anti-God or negatively polarized that you can't see how those rules were meant to protect people and make them better? We" theists" believe theres an entity that wants us to do and be good and wants us to eventually want to do it by ourselves instead of just obeying him. You athesists believe you should just do what you want, good or bad. Its not as different as you think. However, do you all really believe the universe lacks intelligent design from an intelligent designer? Even if everything happened in a scientific manor, who created the first set of energy and kick started the process? Apparently its within the universe's nature to question and even doubt itself, or we need you and your dumbass ideology to strengthen our own faith, i don' t know, but i know you have a purpose. That being said, realize that you are all tools strategically placed as disinfo agents in our spiritual lives that do nothing more than strengthen our ties with our God or gods. If you're taking that attitude with the creator of all seen and unseen, known and unknown, heard and unheard, then you can't believe in his awsome power and omnipotence. He's not your dad and you're just venting off steam. He's father of ALL and the only creature in creation that can destroy or create a soul. There is NOTHING without him having imagined it and thought it was worth creating, including you. Stop being such an ingrate. No such thing as atheism, thats just a polite term we use to explain the most spiritually low self esteemed in society. Those who didn't get the answers they were looking for because they didn't see the wisdom in the response. Those that want proof as if all they see isn't proof.
