I never thought the world is the way it is because of spirituality or religion. Maybe it has a little blame. I would put more blame on political systems that kill individual innovation.
The U.S. has more "Christians" than any other country. The U.S also happens to be the most charitable nation in the world BTW.

you dont think muslims and christians have warred,among many cults?for thousands of years,???the us is very charitable with advanced weapon shells, rockets and bombs,look how generous they were to vietnamese in vietnam war,still finding generous land mines everywhere,and generous unexploded bombs,in iraq and afghanistan too,yes usa is very very generous.like hurricane katrina,generous response yes?now they are being generous to pakistan too!!yep you are right,usa is VERY generous.they give half the world free bombs.

right up there with china, russia, north korea, lots of other middle east countries tha still have an ongoing slave trade, african nations that slaughter each other day in and day out, if your going to point fingers, generalize, bullshit is everywhere, even your country. the world is shit because of one basic principal, greed. the weight of guilt isn't resting on america alone, saying that is mighty ignorant.

it all stems from an idealogoy that's over 2000 years old, once meant to enlighten now holds society back with it's ancient lessons that no longer apply to todays standards and way of life. not counting the fact that in the time elapsed, there hasn't been so much as a peep from the big "G" save for what's handed off by men as his word. so my question is, where is god? in man's mind. not up in the sky looking down at us ready to pass judgment. shows ya that P.T Barnum was ahead of the curve when he said "there's a sucker born ever minute"
It's little wonder why we as a race have not advanced, when clinging to ancient superstitions are retarding are growth.

methaneslurpee It is obvious that you do not have a clue regarding the Ten Commandments and probably religion as a whole. I will offer some thoughts for your edification. As history hasn't told you Lucifer and 200 angels were sent to manage the earth. Lucifer got greedy while here and decided to enlist the angels here to an uprising. That happened and God got pissed for this disrespect and insulting so he (God) demoted his first creation Satan or the devil. It reads that he who is in the pit will remain in the pit until the second coming of Jesus Christ. The Ten Commandments are the government of God! WE are currently living under the government of man. We have murder, disrespect, stealing, Just take a look around you..... Wars! Thou shall not Kill. Yet you see the military of many countries engaged in in just that. Also muslims murdering chirstians, Israelis killing Palestinians Hutus and Tutsis in the name of religion, cutlure etc.

methaneslurpee are you the type of person that should you see a very beautiful person you think to yourself "I wouldn't mind hittin that" after he/she walks past? IF so then there another line up there for you to think about. In fact I would also offer this thought: What would the world be like if we all lived and complied with the Government of God (10 Commandments) as opposed to How you live your life today? I am not passing judgment assuming that each of you who reads this is a bad person. The last 1000 years will be managed by Jesus Christ and the Ten Commandments.

Note about me: I was an altar boy and grew up Roman Catholic. In middle school I stopped going as Darwin's theory really pulled me away. Mid 40s disabled vet and am finding that the Bible when science is bounced off of it Stands Strong. So my heart, mind, body and existence is now used to payback misdeeds and to repent in the hopes that I may be forgiven for my mistakes.

If there is/was a world that lived under those rules it would be awesome to be part of that. Peace
