I may be slow off the mark with this one(?)

But, the chess pieces are being repositioned.
The first bit is from "The Sun", sorry about that, but it seems to be in line with what the more rational, albeit probably agenda guided, "news"papers are saying.

The Guardian has/had 2 stories, one about Russian military advisers manning surface-to-air missile systems and in the other, offering to replace the Nato/Austrian troops on the Israel/Syria border.

Do you think it's a deterrent to the idea of overt arming of the opposition in Syria or something else, ie, a ready response to an actual offensive on an ally of Russia?

Or part of a plan to really kick things off?

In the last decade I have noticed a slow but consistent increase in the belligerence of the Russian military.
It looks to me like the pieces are being set up for another cold war at the very least.

Russia is no longer hiding in the shadows.
The Iron curtain is once again being pulled across the world to divide it. Left vs right.

It would seem we are being led into WW3 like sheep to the slaughter.

Doogle great post.

Russia doesn't want missile defence shield and another thousand bases on it's door step.

I agree flectarn. It's in Russia's interests to keep syria neutral and not a puppet state like the
corrupt Karzai government that the cia funnels billions to yearly.

I didn't know turkey had Nato american nukes on it's soil.

How much can Russia tolerate of America spreading it's weapons of mass destruction on every continent of the planet.

Germany france italy and others like turkey still store Nato nukes. Oh and Japan. I know who runs Nato.

Syria is also a big oil producer like libya and Iran. The petroDollar is being traded in different currencies in these
non puppet nations causing great grief to the weak hyper inflated american dollar.
America needs these nations to deal in U.S. dollars.
Good luck getting China and Russia to do so.
