I really believe Elenin was just a precursor to "bigger and better" things. Seems something is displacing things in the heavens, I can see comets almost every night sitting outside. Thanks for post!

You sure you aren't just seeing 'shooting stars'? There are a few comets heading our way, but I doubt that is what you're seeing every night. People need to keep in mind, if our basic understanding of the Galaxy is correct, Saturn's rings as well as the asteroid belt between Mars and Jupiter are literally a galactic gravel pit littered with nickel-iron asteroids as well as stone asteroids.

EDIT : I just want to make one things clear, I am not trying to spread any disinformation. I am a collector and hunter of meteorites, so I have done basic as well as a bit of advanced research when it comes to asteroids and meteorites. I am not however, much of a follower of comets, and have only researched them briefly as they are made up of materials that supposedly do not survive entry into our atmosphere. For all I know Elenin was a precursor for things to come, and we have a 1,000 comets headed our way. All I am saying is our little slice of the Universe is littered with cosmic trash, so seeing a shooting star streak across the sky is fairly common.

With so many of them out there we are bound to be hit at sometime, maybe in a year, maybe in 200 years, no point worrying about it though.
