A little blog I posted along with a video where I discuss the pros and cons of our favorite conspiracy guru, Alex Jones. Share your AJ thoughts. It's always a good time.

I will put it here as it's easier.
The Alex Jones Effect
I made a video last week (seen down below) where I slightly lambasted Alex Jones, the self proclaimed spearhead of the Truth Movement, among other self proclamations. Many of my subscribers were in agreement that the tactics of Jones can at times be more detrimental to any truth movement and the propagation of vital information concerning global fascism and the elite behind the scenes. But there have been many Youtubers that have attacked me incessantly for criticizing their guru, or figurehead for truth, even though I stated clearly that I agree with more than a few of AJ’s theories.
I was prompted to criticize during one of Jones’ patented “Ugly, Dumb-downed Americans” rants. I realized AJ was using a psychological tactic where an individual tears down the confidence of another, only to console them afterwards to reconstruct them in the image they feel to be suitable and conforming to their liking. A classic manipulation tactic, just like those used by the “Elite” Jones’ is vying against.
Jones’ mantra, “Down with the New World Order” can often be hear in close proximity to digressions on how disgusting the average American is, and how stupid and asleep people are. While degrading Americans as a whole he also tells us that there are toxins in our bloodstream put there to do the very things to people which he wholeheartedly despises. At the same time he attacks the myopic elitist, he attacks the average American for their stupidity he claims the elite has caused. The cycle is looped almost on a daily bases. It’s like watching a person punch another person in the nose and then telling the victim that their nose is making them sick and looks horrible, over and over. The tragedy is the people who blindly follow this logic are ignorant to the fact Jones is speaking to them. They want to believe they are exempt because they are supposedly awake.
After Jones belittles an entire nation, and builds those numerous adherents back up with compliments on how awesome his listeners are for being awake, he offers just the products to keep them from falling back into the pit with all the other “dumb-downed” citizens who are responsible for allowing the banksters to take over the world. He’s got to make a living, right?
Don’t get me wrong, the guy and his team have a lot of good info, but one shouldn’t expose themselves to his rants and contradictions too long; one might get dumb-downed. On a good day, Alex Jones makes Glenn Beck sound pragmatic…
The only sense I can make out of the Jones phenomena is that there are a lot of disenfranchised Americans out there who are also prone to subtle masochism. I guess if that’s what it takes to get people at least looking at what is wrong with the world, then so be it. I just hope that AJ is graceful enough of a human being to be able to take what he dishes out. He’s not exactly the picture of perfect health, mentally as well as physically. I’m just throwing that out there… Laugh out loud.
My opinion of the piece.
I couldn't have put it better myself. The guy is an enigma. Although there is no doubt that we are getting a lot of good info from him, he also has some very questionable idiosyncrasies that, on an unconscious level shout "SHILL" to me. It's quite puzzling as I cannot fathom the guy out at all. I have defended him a lot in the past but you have to admit whether your a fan or not, he does have some questionable ways and they are very unlike others who try and give us the "truth" he question is WHY! ( in my opinion). Don't believe me, just look at the video he did last week with he guy Charlie Veitch from the "tried" to give his story about being detained. Why did he act like that, it just belittled the whole thing, it was insane. If a fan out here can explain it then I'm listening.

Thanks, Saint. I know I have mixed feelings and have gone from hating the guy, to hanging on his every word. I don't know if he has a severe character flaw that appeals to people, or if the guy is using psyop tactics. I'm perpetually on the fence.

I know, I cannot work the guy out. Even if he has obvious characteristics that are unbecoming to someone who is trying to get the people to listen, he should know about them because of the feedback from he masses, yet he continues to use them. The most stubborn of people would learn to adjust their delivery if they know there is a better way. That's why I'm suspicious. There is something telling me that there is something wrong with this picture but for the life of me I cannot work it out and personally I feel that, that is part of the tactic. Others don't behave this way, once their initial months or years go by they adjust to a fairly steady way of doing things that they think is the best way of giving credibility and belief, lets face it that's what keeps them in business but this guy perplexes me.

I've been watching him since way back when he was sitting behind a bare bones desk and throwing newspaper articles on the ground, and you're right, his demeanor hasn't progressed to be more affable to a broader audience. If anything he is more rude. I just hope that this isn't the direction the truth movement stays on. We are in trouble if it is. IMO. Thanks for the feedback.thesaint wrote:Thanks, Saint. That, coupled with his now famous statement about how the Arabs run Hollywood. Oh, and the Charlie Sheen announcement to Obama (which I've completely forgotten the subject matter)

Perhaps he will take your advice and simalar advice he has no daubt read from others. I think he is just getting tired of all the sudden discoveries of lies and pompus actions of the elitists and their possible ( and I use that term lightly) mission to kill as many of us as they can. Or maybe I am just a brainwashed sheep sucked into the mass hysteria. All I can say is if he says something that peaks your attention, do some research before you come to a conclusion. I have done alot of research on his claims that I found of interest, and I was shocked. just sayin

That's pretty much the advice I, and a growing number of AJ critics, are giving. It's kind of a waste of time to sit and hear him go into a patented tirade where he repeats the issues and sensationalizes the root info. But when he breaks a story, or has on a guest worth their salt, it's time well spent, for the most part.

I agree he pushes it, and he cotinues to push it futher each time he goes on air. Yes what he says is pissing even his own listeners off. He knows he could die at any moment. That is the point, he is trying to insult those who are listening to get a reaction out of us. When he says we are spoiled, and have done nothing for the betterment of our own country. Well I have to say, that many of us are spoiled, why? Because we took for granted what our forefathers bleed, and died for, far too many have been led by past leaders into believeing we are indestuctable. IMO he is trying to get a rise out of those who are just sitting on their asses wineing to their EMO friends about things that need changed. These are the same people who are too lazy to even vote. Alex is just saying do something about it, those of us who do our best to contribute to society for the most part we understand, Too Alex it is plane as day what is going on, if it takes an insult to get it going. Well wars have started over less. You can't take the insults to heart if it does not pertain to you, then who do you know of that it pertain to. Chances are they are not what you would call friends, more like a lazy, bitchy, non-working, totally healthy, welfare recieveing, alcoholic, who lives down the street. Yes, I hear your frustration, but how would you gather the attention to the masses. Like Alice Cooper and shock rock or like Crosby, Stills, Nash and Young? I am shocked at times what Alex says, however I am far more shocked with what I find in research about what he uncovers. I would rather be mad at the truth than ferious with a lie. The machine has no conscience, it is time for all true patriotic Americans to remember the sacrafices made by our forefathers and reply in kind to prevent what was won in blood to never be lost.
