That was debunked as a "prank" by the video designer himself.. he glued a camera to the front of a cable boxes transformer (the worst place to put a CCD/MOSFET camera) ,and added a few stray hollywood style parts that go nowhere..

Not that they could not do that, but why would you be clandestine? .. too many legal hurdles to overcome, just make it an "entertainment" item for the mass of sheeple's in the form of games (WII, and the New Kinect for Xbox), new SOHO "business" items such as the cisco UNI, play it off as a "Gee whiz, Neato" item to play with (like moths to the flame), and people will line up, and turn over their rights without even a struggle...

Old Saying: "If it meets your most desired wishes, that is when you should become the most "suspicious"

No it was not De-bunked, or perhaps you're automatically injecting something else on to this stuff you obviously did not even watch..

here i'll post it, show it to you:

Comcast Wants To Use Cameras And Facial Recognition To Serve Ads In Your Living Room

that says 'wants to' ..which is what antiterrorist guy said. I personally have to wonder, along with flicker rates & magnetic fields, why is a digital cable box so large? its board is bigger then my pc's mother board

Sigh....

One reason its larger is for "conformity", people do not take change too well when it comes to "long term" items.. the size could be as small as a 3 1/2 compact drive, but because it needs an element of nostalgia when being looked at by other people besides the family, the size is a general condition of the acceptability of the first few generations..

It's design is also a brand recognition by manufacturer.. and to top it off, the design is also paid for many times over, a money maker with little cost's upfront for enclosure design (a win-win situation)..

yes.. thats what i thought. ^ that disinfo bit is not whats being discussed Here.
except by you. and why are you trying to drop this down to 'its debunked bs' soley about camera's when Flicker rates, speach patterns & magnetic fields were all discussed over the 3 video's?

see I posted how comcast actual wants to put cams in your digi-tv box and yet you still carry on with 'its de-bunked' when its not even the same thing?

Because it's a sham game, they may "want to", but it's never going to happen "by force".. but people sure are willing to play games and video chat huh?.. if you already have a WII, Kinect, UNI, HD camera for the PC, laptop, Smart Phone,or any other various versions of communications, you are already living that world..

Comcast (and others) simply want to patent the "next generation", and simply turn it into a "gee whiz" gadget that the major sheeple will accept..

It's debunked as a "current" item.. the future? 50/50 shot IMO..
