Eastlake Resident Claims to Have Captured Video of UFO

EASTLAKE, Ohio -- It's not the first time someone has recorded images of something mysterious over Lake Erie, but a Northeast Ohio man says it's the first time an image is clear.

"It was probably one of the craziest nights of activity I've ever experienced," said Michael Lee Hill. Hill is a self-described UFO enthusiast who just released some never-before-seen video he claims to have recorded along the lakefront. According to Hill, the video was shot near his Eastlake home in November.

The images show several sets of colored lights flashing over Lake Erie, while appearing to remain still. "I've been filming these for a long time and it's just grown to the point where they've let me know, they know I'm sittin' there filming them," said Hill. "You know, they come in - every year they've come in closer and closer."

It's not hard to find people who believe the lake is a hotbed for extraterrestrial activity. Ed Husa lives in Euclid and frequently walks his dog in a local park. "I go outside and I look up in the sky and I see 'em all the time up there, every so often you see strange lights blinking on and off," said Husa.

Last year, FOX 8 News revealed similar images of lights blinking over Lake Erie. Following our stories, a team from the Cleveland Ufology Project tracked the lights. The organization was founded back in 1952 and its members consider themselves experts who determined the images were airplanes.

Hill disagreed with their assessment last year and now he's even more confident we're not alone. "The fact that this remains in the screen and is not moving, I believe, negates any notion that it's an aircraft," said Hill.

Previously, NASA, which has a research facility in Cleveland, has not commented on the sightings over Lake Erie. Officials at Hopkins International Airport said planes from the U.S. and Canada take-off and land frequently over the water.

Proves to me it's not a plane. Not only all the colors, but also a plane can sit that still for that long, then zip away like that. The reduction in brightness as it's speeding looks to me as if it's leaving at a 11 o'clock direction. Good footage though the tripod issues drove me about nuts!

Just sent a text out to my dad, he was legit just visting fam in Cleveland, uncle is right on the harbor and my grandparents live in pains ville. Let you guys know what he says, he was there for 3 days and just left today, maybe that's why lol, he never was a believer in this shit being real.

There not broadcasting it anymore.. all the videos here on this forum.. have been taken off.. you tube.. I cant watch any of these..(they clame infringement).. they are all gone.!!
