yep on the wrists and the ankles .

here is a ankle bone that was found in a burial cave in israel from that period .
to make it even more morbid , apparently they where reusing the nails
until they completely lost there original shape ,and couldn't be pulled out
anymore .

To breathe effectively you had to push on your legs lifting your diaphragm which would make you experience a lot of pain from the nails in your body. ~ look it up.dlslith wrote:I always thought the cross was a symbolic thing. The romans like the cross because it made a statement to people not to mess with them. I mean you see a few people suffocating in pain from this publicly and it would be a huge deterrent from messing with them.
Thanks for that. Will check it out again.

Someone had to post this. I can't believe I beat everyone to it.

The Holy Lance (also known as the Spear of Destiny, Holy Spear, Lance of Longinus, Spear of Longinus or Spear of Christ) is the name given to the lance that supposedly pierced Jesus's side as he hung on the cross in John's account of his death.
The lance is mentioned only in the Gospel of John (19:31–37) and not in any of the Synoptic Gospels. The gospel states that the Romans planned to break Jesus' legs, a practice known as crurifragium, which was a method of hastening death during a crucifixion. Just before they did so, they realized that Jesus was already dead and that there was no reason to break his legs. To make sure that he was dead, a Roman centurion named in extra-Biblical tradition as Longinus stabbed him in the side.
'… but one of the soldiers pierced his side with a lance, and immediately there came out blood and water.' John 19:34

The one that has ownership of this will control the world. Interesting topic. From the popes to Hitler. This was a very sought after artifact.

i agree its offensive to me,not to others who worship the dead jewish man jesus, the cross can represent the four points on the compass, inside a circle it can represent a symbol of earth,i always believed that it was a stake not a cross that was used in the crucifixion, wood was scarce in lebanon c2000 years ago and there was a mistranslation from greek to english bible storos=stake not cross, this is not confirmed as far as i know,it has always bothered me why people of celtic white skinned race would choose to abandon theyre own history in favour of a story about a dead jew that the jews themselves dont even acknowledge,i feel there is something really wrong about that,we should be interested in our ancestors and mythology ,history, and not some other races,i think its a complete scam, however people are free to be misled if they so desire.

yeah i made thread about it and other magical weapons before, very interesting indeed
last known place's were :
In 615 Jerusalem was captured for the Persian King Khosrau II; according to the Chronicon Paschale, the iron point of the lance, which had been broken off, was given in the same year to Nicetas, who took it to Constantinople and deposited it in the church of Hagia Sophia.
This lance-point, embedded in an icon, was obtained in 1244 from the Latin emperor at Constantinople, Baldwin II, by Louis IX of France, who enshrined it with his relic of the Crown of Thorns in the Sainte Chapelle, Paris.
During the French Revolution these relics were removed to the Bibliothèque Nationale and then disappeared
