What I am saying is there is a huge problem, and its getting worse by the sheer number of references. Its a globally known problem to because everyone sees the references. Some get tricked, some stumble in. Others avoid it altogether using it for legitimate means. However, all, and I do mean ALL, know about it.

Anyone here remember Limewire ?

Many moons ago, there used to be a program called LimeWire. It was file share p2p software and indexing.

Then a while after it was up and became popular as the go to kit. Odd things started appearing in the indexing windows at the top of any results page. Child porn, being shared by literally thousands of people.

Limewire was cool though, because you could identify the IP and if the option was at default, you could engage the host and peers downloading that file directly with a chat box and cause all kinds of chaos that way. Boy oh boy did they get some problems.

The point I am making is, I saw the references of it being in an index. I did not engage any file. Not long after I heard reports of perverts mislabelling files duping people into downloading child porn. After viewing the index results grow worse and worse I left and never looked back.

I heard not long after, it became an international problem with the software being nick named pedo2p.

The dark net is kinda like a Limewire results page, you can always read what is there. The choice to engage is on the user, but if you are tricked you are really tricked. To late then. The same applies to the dark net.

What lies beneath the surface is a who's who of hackers, scientists, drug dealers, astronomers, assassins, physicists, revolutionaries, Government officials, Police, Feds, terrorists, perverts, data miners, kidnappers, sociologists, etc. As you can tell, the party goes across the entire moral spectrum.

I tend not to like crack or any substance of that sort. Not really my thing. Juicy is not what I would describe this thread as though, id say its depressing if anything, but needs to be talked about and widely acknowledged by more people. That in and of itself would help curb it at least a little.

Yeah, totally, WWW is corporate internet virtually. The dark net is kinda the old net, but a far more sinister version of it because its considered anonymous by those that use it. Its like giving a kid a gun and saying if you kill someone it wont matter cus ya can't get caught. The morals go out the window straight away.

The net today while add ridden is still a 100% better than the net of old. Its restricted yes, but I think the restrictions in place, as far as content goes, are for the best. Well as you must know, look what's really out there flouting around.

As for the information of old, that is mostly retained, most of it is mirrored somewhere out there.

what is not floating/mirrored around thats been restricted is the point i am to make, yes most of it like the afghan cook books..and other information terrible stuff but what about the information that was taken off that DTV would cream over?? it is out there on HD and some massive floppys, thats the space so dark corporature cannot get to thus cannot see..
