What happened is not a reflection of Canada.

it's an excuse for our newest generation of shit heads to cause mayhem.. I thought we grew up since "94 and the 2010 Olypics showed that. I guess that was naive of me.

I've heard that even if Vancouver won there would have been riots. Maybe not to the extent of what I saw but kids already had moltov cocktails ready to go in thier nap sack. We had peacefull protesters before the Olympics because people thought it's costing us too much money and these same kinds of people saw the opportunity to start this even though they do not care about the cause or what just happened. Sure some fan's probably got into it, but it wasn't started and/or fuel'd by true fans.

Harbin recently asked me tongue in cheek, if I consider myself a typical 40ish male Canadian. My response to him is.........If you consider I'm 46 , raised two sons on my own for 10 years, lost both parents, lost 2 houses, recently went through a divorce and am still fucking standing here, shall I go on? then yeah, ya got me pegged. Funny how the cars that got trashed were ALWAYS in a open concreted areas...

Funny how the police cars that "allegedly got wrecked by rioters" had the Police Laptops removed from them before they got burned...

Funny how all the media's said that it was a small group of Anarchist Rioters but no-one attempted to arrest them before they FINISHED THE JOB.....

The police could'nt just run around arresting these people. There were hundreds and hundreds of people that should be arrested. and only so many police. The police did the best job they could.

I don't agree with "it's all theatre" who would want that, please give me an explanation to that.

Also, How do you know that the cop cars didn't have anything in them, were you one of the guys standing on top of the cars jumping up and down?

1) Police have ZERO problem just arresting anyone,anytime for any reason.
(Remember Toronto G20 over 1500 arrests ended in 15 charges)

2) Canada wants to start having a large prison population to make money off of like The United States and have a new crime bill pending which will give police sweeping powers of arrest and investigation to fill the prisons being built in Canada!

3) The Mainstream Media (the News ) is a commercial for a Product,namely the policies of Government and Corporations that effect all of our lives.They want you the people to buy into these policies and COMPLY.

And let's take a look at what progressives consider progressive. Now I would consider progressive to mean "progress" or "moving forward" with new ideas and progressives would strongly agree.
