The first loop is the actual loop of the North Atlantic from NOAA.
The second loop is from the movie The Day After Tomorrow.
The low in the middle, between North America and Europe is greater in size than Sandy near 3 times greater.

The Day After Tomorrow was actually based on a novel Whitley Strieber wrote, whom claimed to have received this information from a being whom visited him in a hotel room in Toronto... he did not mean for it to be taken as fiction.
