The best Sopa protests online – in pictures

The Great Internet Blackout in protest of proposed anti-piracy legislation was in full swing on Wednesday, with thousands of websites either shutting down completely or posting information about the bills. The target of the protest is the Stop Online Piracy Act (Sopa) and its Senate counterpart the Protect IP Act (Pipa), both of which are aimed at preventing copyright infringement. Here, photos of the blackout from around the web

if the sopa bill really goes to town guys think about it like this.

With domain names being so cheap to run;
for every one website they shut down due to sopa, another 10 will rise in its place, because each popular site that they will choose to attack has thousands of, if not hundreds of thousands of members/traffic.
"There he goes. One of God's own prototypes. A high-powered mutant of some kind never even considered for mass production. Too weird to live, and too rare to die. "

I AM an endangered species.
