Bloody Hell, did'nt realise there was so much contention about this story...I suppose a public demonstration of the artifacts properties is the only way we can be sure one way or another. And the deaths of the two scientists were real Ichecked also, and the Japanese lab tests on the artifact itself appear boni fidi theres a lot of checkable back ground events aswell has anyone with more time and better IT skills than me ( apart from the website recomended) looked into them? I have to fight with the kids for time on the net! It would take a very devious person indeed to weave such a story around actual events, and again Dr Reed does not strike me as such. A while back I posted this.
I e-mailed odisealinker on youtube and asked why isn't there a video of the artifact working?

Here is the response pasted word for word:

Yes, the LINK artifact has been tried and used by four different people
over the last ten years unfortunately resulting in one person's death.

times and without much physical damage and difficulty, and survived.

and/or the use of the LINK device without success due to an unexplained
magnetic pulse of energy at the exact moment of ignition or/ start resulting
in some form of extreme electronic distortion interference rendering it
virtually non-recordable.

High Speed Film as well has been tried only resulting in a fogged image.

A release of this photography was publicly show in Europe resulting in
the unfortunate vocal grumbling and/or debunking, dismissing it to be
only some kind of computer generated stunt. Therefore it was never
again released or shown publicly.

Unfortunately ONLY those few- who have actually witnessed seeing the
device function first-hand and with there own eyes, will ever know of its
power, its reality...and of its true unearthly majesty.
