This is just so fucking sad. The sadness/darkness in their eyes in the "after" breaks my heart, and a couple of them look downright disturbing. :cry:

Do you know anyone who was in the war?

I have three good friends who were and are.

2 are still in Afghanistan, and 1 was in Iraq. He's done now though. Has Agoraphobia and post traumatic stress.

The two in Afghanistan post on Facebook all the time. Pictures and updates and stuff like that.

My cousin Keith served in Iraq twice. He wasn't quite right when he went, and he definitely wasn't quite right when he came back.

The 2nd and 4th row of eyes have changed the other 2 rows look normal.

2 good friends of mine served in Iraq and Afghanistan, the one who served in Iraq smuggled photos out of some amazing shit, and the one who served in Afghanistan couldn't get out quick enough.

Both are ok though mentally but are scarred there's no doubt about that, the one who served in Afghanistan seems mostly affected, I think that's down to him losing 3 friends while out there.
