This is a bit german history. In 1971 Klaus Kinsky went on tour with a Jesus program and brought the masses raving. It was both an outrage of love and hate. And still today while listening the tapes you can feel the spirit of excitement, uproar and rebellious Jesus spirit. It was unique and amazing.

I would love to see an english documentary on him and that role. Obviously was his dramatic interpretation of a cult leader, he was waaaay off base when he said Jesus smacked people in the face with a whip. Fascinating. Wonder if he was in character the entire time of that period.

At one time he was diagnosed with Schizophrenia and was a self accused sex addict. I liked him in Nosferatu the vampire.
