The 24. August 1990 incident happened no doubt

but what you´re looking at are dozens of practise flare bombs on parachutes shot into ze baltic sea sky by a NVA warship during a navy maneuver.
Happened during ze days of the German dazeness after the iron curtain crumbled. Eyewitnesses like Dr. Lüder Stock testified, that he saw first rockets then flares ...not one of the videos shows the first 10 minutes of the whole 45 min firework, also the thermic heat of Baltic sea appears to make some funny movements with ze fading flares too...
The Poenix lights are a similar event

Oh I get it. This is the part where I say "No, there's nothing official to confirm that" WELL THERE ISN'T.
According to some crappy website I just visited, this incident lasted several hours and no one can make any sense of it. This is the kind of thing that makes me feel that it is unlikely that the government has any sort of formal relationship with extra-terrestrials.
Furthermore, these things were close to a nuclear power plant which had a meltdown less than a year beforehand.
Know what I think?
I think these things can somehow absorb the radiation and transmogrify it into something useful. Electricity, fuel, etc.
It certainly wouldn't be the first time. They seem to be attracted to nuclear power.
Come to think of it, there's one with our particle accelerator which, as I've stated before, was in close proximity to my own experience with these things.
That's why I've concluded that, if indeed, these are the vehicles of extra-terrestrial beings, they seem to have concern for our misuse of nuclear power. They must be nice peoples.

P.S. Can anyone tell me how flares could descend for several hours, or even 45 minutes?
