The Kalam Cosmological Argument--Or, Does God Exist?

(4) If the universe has a cause of its existence then that cause is God.
I'm not sure how (4) came about, if you can elaborate.
Even the rest are shaky to say the least. I can give a a number of scenarios, one of them being the universe is a continuous loop. (One universe is destroyed and another is created). We all know for example audio feedback. It's an infinite loop and a natural process of creation that does not require intelligence.
I don't mean to offend but the fact that we don't know yet enough cosmology to have a complete theory, doesn't necessarily mean there is a god. It's the same kind of thinking that assumed thunder and lighting means that God is angry.

Your example goes back to the impossibility of infinite pasts. A continuous loop implies an infinite number of loops.
And this thread was about theoretical and mathematical "arguments" for the existence of God. Thank you for your imput though.
To know the peace of God,
One must know the God of Peace.
Pursue Jesus Christ,
He's pursuing you!
