There was a book that followed their every move, for a period of 2 weeks, at the time of the accident, there were no volumes tracking the beatles. At that time, the replacement went to South Africa, who were the leaders in facial reconstruction worldwide at the time. There is a photo of him with his face all bandaged up somewhere online.

I realise it shocks people who didn't know, like I said, it's old news now. Dont believe? that's fine too.

'Macca' is his (Paul's) nickname. :headscratch:

I'm still trying to decipher this sentence.

I assume you are saying that you, not me, worked for a "MAJOR" label, but your syntax made it a little confusing.

Wanna talk some music? I might surprise you. :D

I'm saying that 'I' worked for a Major record label.

I don't know if the real Paul actually died, but there can be no doubt that the fab four pandered to people's fears for the sake of promotion... didn't read all the replies... so some of this may already be covered... but for example, the cover of Abbey Road... the fact that Paul is barefoot, and the license plate of a car in the shot (says 28IF) ... or something like that, as to say, he would have been this age had he lived... the funeral scene on Sgt Pepper's album, in addition to the guitar in the grave, there's a small car in there, or next to the little girl, which was supposedly the car he drove... on the inside photo of the album, Paul (or Paul the Imposter) can be seen wearing a badge which equivocates to UK's version of D.O.A. (dead on arrival)... and the back cover, where you see George pointing his hand up...in area where song lyrics are printed... they say... that if you start at the sentence he points to... and read across... that it forms some sort of cryptic message... this album has song "Day in the Life" ... so part of the lines in this area is something like "He blew his mind out in car"... and the whole "I am the Walrus"... with that... walrus... as an eskimo symbol of death.... seem to recall some back masking too... maybe Revolution 9... where you hear these words "Paul is Dead"... again, don't think anything really happened... this was just commercialism at its finest... but hey, if the real Paul died... no worries... this Paul is so much better....

George, however, was always my favorite!

The 'old paul' was a much more proficient bassist, listen to the white album, he just rips it up.. then after that, well Sgt Peppers was mostly written before his demise, but the bass lines after that were just plain simple.

Yeah there's tonnes of info, there used be to be some awesome sites about 10 years back on this very topic, just heaps of info out there for anyone who cares.. Really, I don't, there are more important things to worry about right now. They were awesome though, whatever happened, we'll probably never know.
