The trouble is, all this stuff COULD have been going on 100+ years ago, what we need is historical reference!

Well, even within the last five years, with the internet becoming a more prominent news source, these mass die-offs are happening more frequently (than they did five years ago).

poot great thread but all the animasl death makes me sad so i hope you don't mind me posting this video! animals thought to be extint but have been found again! i gotta add just a tiny smile to this thread!

Not so much MASS, but unusual.

Sunfish have been recorded in British waters before but their appearance is becoming more and more regular - a fact attributed to the rising temperatures of UK seas.
