The Moon - July 2nd 2012

Just messing with my new camera. Took some shots of the moon tonight. It was a bitch keeping the camera steady with a full zoom like that. Even on a tripod.
Tomorrow is a full moon.

That new camera looks the business.

It is amazing how difficult it is to hold a camera steady.
With out a tripod next to impossible to take a clear pic,
when talking about these type of distances.

What zoom is that?

It's 35x optical zoom, so it's equivalent to a 840mm lens. Which would be a very expensive lens on a canon.

It takes some great pics. Good choice for a camera.

Hell yeah. It's image quality is very good.

I got a super zoom, because I wanted to get some good photos of birds and other wildlife. Stuff you can't get too close to.
