"The Nine" peter levenda...any more info?

yo DTVers,

i was listening to coast to coast around halloween time, and peter levenda was the guest talking about his new political witchcraft book.

he had mentioned that in 1952-53 a group called "the nine", made up of many rich families held a seance in a farmhouse in maine. To try to used spiritual forces as a weapon. it was rather interesting and i cant find any more info on it ( short of buying the book) just wanted to know if anyone knew any more about this.
