So, the fact that a device or an invention looks too marvellous to be true is not conclusive evidence that it isn't.

I believe that it is thinking on such lines that encourages inventors - and there have been many since the 12th Century - to pursue what would be a true marvel: a perpetual motion machine.

me too :?

on another note, I don't necessarily believe in FREE energy as in it trumps the third law, but I do believe in safe, and cost effective energy.

what do you think Will, perpetual motion just seems out of reach, but what about cost effective, abundant, and safe (by safe I mean for the user, the producer, and the environment) energy?

Again, I thank you for critical thinking instead of...oh, the usual flame fest...

The good news people is that I have proof you can have free energy... it is so simple yet ignored.. we can all have it without changing anything...

Just get your government to provide it for free...

Simple really...

the reality however we know is not so simple...

Will there ever be true free energy? Nope, not as far as I can tell... people and governments make you and I pay for everything we NEED just to survive...

Food, Water, Shelter... and sometimes sex.. soon we WILL be paying for the air we breathe... so what of 'energy', being a 'want' and rarely a 'need' what do you think the likelihood of it being free will be?

The longer we live the more we learn that NOTHING is free, and whatever is seen to be free often comes at a price... the truth is in the contradiction.

Imo there is a world of difference between free energy and a perpetual motion.

The best in perpetual motion is the universe we live in, but even that could end one second from now.

There are many forms of free energy, the sun, magnetic field, earth warmth, compost, waterfalls / streams and so on, but it will always cost money because you have to make a 'machine' to tap that energy and ... there is always this parasite (government) that will tax you to death. :alien51:

i for one think there is nothing wrong to try to make what we deem "impossible"
people used to think the world was flat.
and that wireless electricity was impossible.
if we didnt try to discover new impossible stuff we would live in the stone age.
who cares if its not 100 percent perpetual and forever?
as long as it increases the power 3 times from solar and wind energy, or water, good enough for me

True Oreo, any improvement (even if it is not absolute) is a positive step (as long as it brings more benefit or eliminates more obstacle).

Good point
