Looks like it is going to be cloudy tonight in my area. Maybe this storm will pass through and it will clear up later but its not looking so good right now.

Mostly North-East though but yeh look everywhere ;)

Well duck that is just for a couple of hours for those looking for skippers..........

Avid meteor watchers might want to try scanning the northeastern horizon from 9 p.m. to 11 p.m. local time (your local time, wherever you are) for Perseids that graze the horizon.

The big show is all over.................

The best location is far from city and suburban lights. Ideally, find a structure, mountain or tree to block the moon. Then scan as much of the sky as possible. The meteors can appear anywhere, heading in any direction. If you trace their paths backward, they'll all point to the constellation Perseus.

No it will be happening all night. The hours you mentioned are just for a certain type of that skip off the atmosphere. The peak time is around 4am to 5am.

Now that is crazy. I just read where people were already getting a show the last couple of days. Might be location hesop. Tonight you should see something I would think. I'd love to have your view of it. To much city light around here but I'm gonna give it a try.

The best time to see them in the northeast is between 12 a.m. and 5 a.m.

I was out watching last night and will hopefully be able to again tomorrow night. During about 45 minutes of viewing I saw four quick moving meteors all in the same area of the sky. If you look at the tip of the handle of the big dipper and look directly left of that you will be looking in the area that I saw all of these at. They were extremely fast moving so you would have to be looking in the right area of the sky to catch them. I do not know if they will be like that every night or if it was just those on Monday night that were like such.
