@ earthman
i managed to see four within five minutes. two of them were pretty basic, just a white streak across the sky. one was one of them skippers, i could totally tell it skipped of the atmosphere, pretty rad, and the the one that took my breath away was super bright, looked pink and blue, huge tail behind it! it was pretty fuckin awesome  ! then i sat around for another half hour and didnt see anything else, so i went to bed.
it was really nice cause the moon was hidden behind some thick clouds off to the east, so i had an amazing view of the sky.
i hope you managed to catch some good ones as well.

did any one on DTV get and pics or video of the showers?

I hope that someone on here is taking pics for those people, who couldn't see it, because it was cloudy. I would deeply appreciate seeing them.

Caught some more, caught four more tonight and they are in a different area of the sky. They are coming directly from the perseus constellation. In fact had some very strange ones. I saw a faint light slowly grow in intensity while it slowly moved across the sky then it dimmed out, a couple seconds later this massive meteorite skipped across the atmosphere in a greenish hue leaving a massive trail of incandescent smoke behind it. Absolutely amazing it was.

Going back out after midnite to see them when they are supposed to be heavier.
