This study just corroborates what Zecharia Sitchin has said in his books on Sumerian translations: Something HUGE just happened thousands of years ago, speeding up the evolution of the primate hominids and suddenly turning some of them into civilized species. Some groups weren't used in the project and kept primitives, but co-inhabiting the same environment and even inter-breeding
.

The Neanderthals, a hominid species presumed extinct 30,000 years ago, lived with the first modern humans, and this relationship was no descendants, according to a study by the Max Planck Institute in Leipzig (East Germany) anticipated by the magazine "PM Magazin ' .
The publication provides a survey started four years ago by the Institute, which states that Homo neanderthalensis, which inhabited mainly Europe and parts of western Asia, has not disappeared as suddenly as they ensured so far experts, and mingled with Homo sapiens .

In 2006, experts in anthropological evolution of the Max-Planck Institute, led by geneticist Svante Pääbo paleontologist, found bones in a cave in Croatia that were compared with remains found in north-western Spain and southern Russia.

The researchers then decided to compare the genome of Neanderthals with modern human. They found that part of the hominid species that genetic aspect robust, maximum height of 1m65 and short edges yet remains in Homo sapiens.

"It is true that we had children with the Neanderthals," says Gerd Schmitz, part of the research team of the Max-Planck.

In 2009, Pääbo and his team from the Max-Planck announced they had managed to decipher some 63% of the Neanderthal genetic data.

Researchers in Leipzig managed to decipher the sequence of over three billion bases of DNA, using as starting material shows bone of six Neanderthals.

Most of the material proceeded from a deposit in Vibndija cave in Croatia.

Were also used for the study shows Sidrón cave, Asturias (Spain) from a deposit in Mezmaiskaya, southern Russia, as well as the skeleton of 40 thousand years old found in the valley itself Neanderthal (Germany), which gave the species name.

O grupo de Päabo evitou a contaminação do material genético do Neandertal com material genético humano durante o processo. Paabo's group avoided the contamination of the Neandertal's genetic material with human genetic material during the process.

The German start investigations, moreover, the assumption that Homo sapiens and Homo Neanderthal come from lineages that diverged some 400,000 years at least.

Another issue that could be solved if scientists are able to decipher the genome, is the enigma of the disappearance of Neanderthals, some 30 thousand years.

Absolutely, interesting post,
Zacharia Sitchin is worth reading and he's not the only one to have postulated this hypothesis.

i said it before (not that anybody gives a shit....lol):

ever since i can remember, it was easy for me to believe in other beings.
i was raised in Naples, Italy, from a catholic family. and as a little boy i found it impossible to believe in somebody walking on water, coming back from the dead, multiplying bread etc. etc.
but the tought that there was somebody else out there, somebody watching us, never felt strange to me.
it's like i was born KNOWING that we were not alone.
and that we were not the top of the food chain.
not by a long shot.
until somebody proves me wrong,
i still think that we are nothing more than some "entity"'s pet project.
as long as there's one idiot around wlling to believe bullshit, there will be a bullshitter

Great video on this thread on the subject:)

Political bullshit??

How can the acceptance of the premise that a higher being may be responsible for the creation of the DNA code i.e. life be even remotely political?

I didn't realise that you had it all figured out Troll, here was me thinking that the universe is so vastly complicated that our fallible minds couldn't possibly know what forces are behind it.
