The Q - source and modern gospel research

If you carefully read the gospels in NT you will find many differences and similarities.

Mt, Mk and Lk are called the synoptical gospels, John is totally different.

It seems that Mk is the basic gospel to both Mt and Lk. John must have known all three. (Please look the outline of the synoptical gospels and see.)

Now the basic outline is from Mk + special material of both Mt and Lk.

After having done all this there becomes obvious that there must have been another source called Q.
