I personally believe 13 is a great number, it is my lucky one and its no coincidence that the moon has 13 cycles per lunar year. I also believe that the introduction of 13 being evil and unlucky was done to take power away from women amongst other things; by the masculine church.

Indeed, the astrologers have also been trying to decide what they're going to do about the 13th astrological sign as well. As far as I am aware that dispute as been going on for a couple of decades, probably longer.
