In the past I've explained that camcorder stills of a flying bird or insect give the illusion of some new phenomena , the mysterious " Rod "

This is entirely due to the fact that Camcorders do not have a shutter mechanism ..........Therefore a " Still" is actually a misnomer .

the moths on your video look exactly like "rods" i've seen on other videos, but that was'nt a butterfly or moth on pindz video, i dont no what it was, but your vid has debunked loads of video now .

I posted this on the other Rods thread only to be told by Pindz that it's disinformation. That's the problem with logic, not everyone understands it and even though its in their face, they say "Voodoo magic NWO disinfo crap"
After awhile, you just have to laugh...What we should be asking with these rods vids is, "what frame rate the camera had" before we dive head first into believing what we see.

I think there must be at least a few simple rules to determine the validity of anything claimed as interligent life;
1) Does it show control of some intelligent form?
2) Does it have anything identifiable that marks it as such? (animal or machine)
3) Is in in focus?
4) Does it react to the surroundings? (or go in a straight line as in gravity falls)
5) Is it/could it be manmade
6)Is the subject in question part of the apliance in photo/video (parachute straps)
7) Is the video longer than 5 seconds (Why someone who thought they were videoing a UFO would stop the camera in such a short time when most of us would let the camera roll until it's dead in order to get the shot. This tells me they viewed the video and then decided it wads a UFO in order to claim some fame or attention after the fact)
8) What was the frame rate of the camera?
9) What do we know of the one doing the filming?

Without this basic list of qualifiers we can only speculate as to what anything might be.

I'm not ridding your butt Pindz, these are just some of the things I use to determine if the subject warrants further investigation. If anyone else wants to add to this list, please feel free to do so.

In fact, it would make a great thread on it's own.

But it doesn't prove every sighting of a rod-like ship is bogus.

That is clearly a strap or rope in pindz video,probably came loose from the parachute or it's pack,most likely the rip cord
