There's a lot of Buddhist writing on reincarnation, but the Buddha himself didn't say much about it. In fact, it seems to me that Sid used the word to refer to the transformation of consciousness, and resulting ego deaths which were necessary to facilitate the transformation. Through learning the Way, a person could live many 'lifetimes', eventually reaching that point where no more death and rebirth was necessary. This would all take place within the context of a single physical life. Belief in reincarnation as a soul transference from one body to the next is just an excuse to not follow the Way, and a means of avoiding the fear of death which comes from that complacency... a nice warm blanket to fall asleep in. I would challenge anyone to point out text attributed to The Buddha which says otherwise.

To the OP, I'm not familliar with the law of consciousness, can you elaborate?

You don't really reply much to the op and, yet, you have a lot to say about stuff that is really 'off topic'. If you or anyone is going to refer to Jesus(74)*, Muhammad(74), and Buddha(40) on this thread, it should be about those individual teachers' beliefs on reincarnation and how their followers have approached the subject. Let's analyse and discuss the scientific theories and principles that I've accumulated to support reincarnation. As far as I know, this is a 'first' - I have not seen anyone else provide a true scientific basis for reincarnation.

(1) I believe there is more to energy than we are told as well as certain energies that are kept in the dark so to speak. Much of it having to do with liberation and freedom and the consequences as well as potentials therein. However, although it is conceivable that energies are never destroyed, they may become something which will never be able to meet again the exact same characteristics it once had in its complete uniqueness, and may be so degraded and or dispersed so as to never be one again, but rather a small part of many things giving birth to variation and so on.

Sorry I didn't respond earlier, but your reply was so invloved, I felt like I was going to have to dedicate a couple of hours to address it. I decided to just reply to one area for now and I'll get to the rest later..

In regards to (1) energy74. My whole point is scientifically identifying the soul as an energy and proving its existence from one incarnation to another. On other threads I've pointed out that George Washington was reincarnated as Robert E. Lee. This is history's most obvious example of 'direct reincarnation'. A scientist must prove his theory through experimentation. Well, the 'experiment of reincarnation' happens with the birth and death of every human, but it is really hard to track every human through the transmigration of their soul! Maybe some day we will be able to do so?! But it is not that hard for me to track some famous people as they go from one body to another. In my thread: Freemasonry and Reincarnation, I refer to a few different famous souls.

I am in the midst of an experiment on reincarnation. I'm well aware of who I was in my most recent human life and I will soon post this on this forum. But besides 'looking back', I'm also 'looking forward'. I will be reincarnated and be able to identify that I was Brad Watson in my last lifetime. That is the experiment, anyway. I pray it will be awhile before I prove that!

Six of the principles of the theory & 15 principles of reincarnation are scientific theories that also directly apply to reincarnation…

(1) Energy is the property something has that enables it to do work. The basic forms of energy are kinetic energy, potential energy, and rest energy.

(2) The law of conservation of energy states that energy can not be created or destroyed, although it can change form. (The law of conservation of mass states that matter can not be created or destroyed, although it can change form.)

(3) The law of information states that information can be created, but not destroyed, although it can be transferred.

(4) The law of conservation of consciousness states that consciousness cannot be created or destroyed, although it can be transformed.

(5) The law of wave/particle duality states that all matter & energy is both waves and particles. Therefore, this life is a particle in the wave of our eternal life. In classical physics, waves transport energy, but not matter, from one region to another. 19th century physicists found that light sometimes acted like a wave and sometimes it acted as a particle.

(6) The theory of luck provides the equation of how our karma is reflected back by the 'matrix' or ‘universal quantum computer’ (God)

I'll admit, you lost me here. Are you copying dictionary definitions of 'exchange'? Why?

Lee and Freemasonry and Reincarnation. I will continue to present 'experimental evidence' including my own 'previous direct incarnation'.
