I'm not a Sarah Palin supporter and have no plans to vote for her because I think she's just another establishment party politician and her rise to prominence in the Republican party is suspect. However, there is nothing in the you tube video that is shocking or that doesn't happen in Christian Churches daily. Elders of the church are instructed by the scriptures to lay on hands and pray for the saints. Praying to protect her from witchcraft is appropriate in the context of their belief system. You have the right to be offended if you choose to but it hardly qualifies as a reason to persecute her.

The issue that he is trying to reflect here by showing this video is not the ritual that is going on .... but rather... the seperation between church and state.....

I am an american and was born in america and so were my parents... I happen to be a buddhist... do you think it would be fair for me to have a future president who mixes her christian faith into american foreign policy?

She is obviously a jesus freak and its also obvious that her pastor was praying for all leaders of america to be born again christians....

For her to be a jesus freak and have her pastor say straight out WE HAVE to make all our elected officials born again christians is a slap in the face to hindu americans, muslim americans, jewish americans , buddhist americans and even the person who decides to go outside and hug a tree....

This nation is NO longer just a white Anglo saxon protestant christian society... times have changed sir... we are now a multi cultural mutli religious nation and all of us have to be respected and NOT favor just one faith in the halls of government.....

The right wing does not seem to get this... I dont understand why...... are they just to full of pride and self rightous to not understand? is it because white christian conservative america is just a bunch of rascists at heart and dont want to accept the fact that an arab muslim american for example has the same rights as christians ??????

The founding fathers were freemasons and beleived in GOD without having a religious ideology connected to it... That means that JESUS has no place being in the halls of a government that reflects a free society... period!!!!

Sara Palin is the least of my worries. I don't even know if there will be elections in 2012. There is a communist in the White House. Why should I care about Sara Palin, or Tiger Woods for that matter?

Telos, your post is full of Anti-Christian bigotry as well as fear. Sarah Palin was attending a church service as did and do a lot of U.S. Politicians; including presidents. Your reference to the founding fathers is pointless. Take the time to read the writings of the founding fathers if you really want to be fearful of Christianity in America. The pilgrims who landed at Plymouth Rock were fleeing Christian persecution. For you to say that Sarah Palin would turn the White House into an instrument of of evangelism is totally unfounded, far reaching, and again bigoted. As a final note, if you want to hear some really scary preaching from a Christian Church attended by our current president for 20 years, Google rev. Wright. I would think THAT would scare you more than this sarah Palin video. Your alterior motives are so transparent.
