Russian Prime Minister Vladimir Putin on Monday accused the United States of acting as a “parasite” on the world economy by accumulating massive debts that threaten the global financial system. “The country is living in debt. It is not living within its means, shifting the weight of responsibility on other countries and in a way [.

Ummm. He does have a point, accept that it is not the people, it is the banks and leaders who have done this. Oh but don't worry because the poorest, elderly, and middle class are going to get hammered again. So Putin can rest easy, knowing that people starve in America just as they do in Russia.

Well he would be right in many ways... of course most countries are "fair weather" friends...America is the #1 country in the world for the past 100 years that has given more to the planet, in general, than any other country from both a support and financial/disaster recovery end of things. Should we be proud of the US? Sure...for the things we have done in the past...but that doesn't help the "today"...

We are going to see more and more countries pointing the finger at the US for being the issue, which since we did, as a majority, vote for the current administration we all should hold some level of responsibility for what is happening.

I guess I think of it like cancer almost...right now there is a very large "socialistic tumor" plaguing the US... the cure could range from precise removal of specific "problem areas"...to just cutting out a large chunk...if the US was like a kidney...it would be removed from the body even if a large % of it was still good...because the world has "another" (speaking from an anatomical analogous stance that is).

We need to make 100% sure that the people we put in charge from this point forward are not nut jobs...believe in the US constitution...the free market...and conservation of spending when it comes to federal involvement.

That is about all we can do...and pray that we, as a global economy, hang on until that can come to pass.

Otherwise, we are going to see the dollar basically get dumped, a very unstable global economy, and a depression in the U.S. like no other historic depression... and that is not an exaggeration... all of the money they are "pumping" into the economy is based on borrowed money from the Americans...if that doesn't work...then there is no other option than to default and make forms of promissory notes that bundle large debts up and are re-organized to make a "payment plan" to the holders of the debt over a period of time that won't completely kill the U.S. economy (but will make life kinda suck for about a decade) and will leave the U.S. "word" in good standing terms with the other global economic powers...you know...the same thing like when people get into financial binds. One has the option to just file for bankruptcy =or= work out a deal with the debt collectors for a payment plan that makes sense for one's budget. The later issue, the budget, is what our senators and congress people are evidently "arguing over" with many of the more left and right sided folks acting like complete ASSHOLES and not compromising... who is to blame... ? All of us...

We have to understand the issues and as a nation in general contact the local reps to let them know it is "ok to not have a turtle crossing" or "ok to not be so strict on emissions to the point of bankrupting power companies".... the global warming scam is up and while pollution sucks balls... we need to get the vitals back online before worrying if we can actually get up and walk around.

The worlds financial system is nothing but a ponzi scheme. Let's go ahead and default, and then print greenbacks. The banks can go to hell!
If it looks like a duck, acts like a duck, and quacks like a duck it is probably just a tool of the conspiracy.

He's knows exactly what he is talking about, and do the people he is really addressing,
and his phrasing was certainly intentional.
