I think the more you make yourself visible on here with posting, the more comfortable you and others become at interacting with each other.
I was here for over a year before I joined the forum. My join date is March 2009 but I think I came here originally late 07, early 08. My first ever post, and I was scared shitless to do it, was not responded to. But perseverence is the key.

I still think the title of his thread was weak, not blasting him just being helpful. Post subject: October 28th, 2011 Rebirth Day - Feb 11th Was the Start!!! What can we really gather from this on the side board hot topics or from the new posts page. I have not watched the video he posted because I am not a "believer" of the mayan topic, but his title was vague. How about "Mayan dates 8-28-11 and 2-11-11" It would have at least garnered views from the Mayan groups or skeptics. I know this is not a popularity contest here. It can be very disappointing to have something you feel strongly about get swept under the rug. If your first try did not garner any views and you feel the need to get the info out, then try, try, again. Try a new title, try another way of expressing your view in your post. Don't just go on a rant, and, decide to quit or give up.

Well, you seem to have issues beyond this site.
If you had read the post you are using as a comparison, a number of conversations were had by a number of people to drive it to the level it is at. Pros and Cons of gun owner ship, Types of firearms best suited for situations, etc. The poster made a title that sucked people in, then he presented his question, which people answered in kind. Some made it into a whole different subject.
Where as compared to your provided example, of the mayan date correlation. Which is a special interest, which most people who frequent here have heard / seen countless evidences on said topic. So it would only drawl in specific levels of viewing.

As others have said, the number of views or the topics that linger, is not about a popularity contest, and people do go threw the archives to see what has been missed since they were last on.
Some days are better then others, but it seems you are projecting other issues you are having here.

things come and go in waves, some have indeed seen certain information, but others may have not. Many read topics, and posts but feel no need to reply.

I feel ya. Though to be honest, not interested at all in the topic of the thread your whinin about. Mayans are nothin but another ancient culture, (only got past the title and one minut of vid). I say I feel ya, because I've studied far more than most here, but because my threads have Jesus in them my name is blacklisted even when posting non Jesus material.

And thats right folks I have out studied ya'll. And you will never have the answers you need unless you add Jesus to the equation.
